This well show you how to add ships to your game. This tutorial is by a staff of ours after recent addings off all those ships that has no instructions.

If you want to know how to add the ships Download this. Also you well need Acrobat Reader.

This guide is good but isn't there a better way, like when making these models, can't they add a text file that holds the config for the model, so that we can just copy it into the default loadout and core, or an installer like BC files has BCI, it's too much messing round to add a ship.

Hey, that's a joke! Those merely 1000 characters in a more than 3mb file? OK, I have cable, but what about the modem users?

dont worry about it, I am a modem user and this is a beta version. I am going to include pictures and other stuff in teh next version for those Weakminded.. so dont worry about it.

cant we just stick ships into an .exe file that auto installs (spelled right?)

because my first language is german and i have no clue what you guys talking about with the whole core thingy

no, because they would replace the default file with a file containing the mod, plus the default ships. this would overwrite any other mods in the game.stick out tongue

What about including the required files and instructions so that people with unmodded just copy/paste smile and people with mods follow instructions! Like the ST Armada modders usually do.

its not the mod installation, i dont want to keep editing the character.gf every time i want to try a new ship in SinglePlayer, i want it to appear in the shipyard and not crash! is that too much to ask??

Isn't it possible that a Utility can be created to add new ships in. SFC and SFC 2 had the Shipyards program by Eagle Eye Software where you can add new ships and change weapons according to the hardpoints.

Since SFC 3 is very similar to how it is done, why can't the same be done?

Because I've tried doing it by the tutorial, but it never works.

This file is 100% bitmaps. Even the writing. THAT'S why it's so big. To rpove it, try zooming in on the words. They pixelate whereas words should be vectors.

Ok, I do not know if anyone is still around to read this but I need to find out if it is possible to port ships in from other ST games and if so is there a TUTORIAL or guide somewhere I can get my hands on. Preferably on that includes a list of what games you can port ships from to put into SFCIII. I like the NX-01 from Bridge Commander for example and need to find out if and how I can port it in.

can't y'all(the shipmakers) just do like they do for demon renegade studios ship dls and just add a suggested specs file with the ship

i added these to the bottom of the federation sections of both and like i said the ship doesnt even show up and its freezes like i said i got it from the battle clinic link from this site and it said it was good to use on sfc3 please helpppppp lol i really want to add this ship i like the idea of havin the biggest ship in starfleet if u have a solution send it to me on here just mark it for kelley koch or send me an email thank you for any help u can give
