Description:
When the USS Excelsior was first commissioned in 2284, nobody could have predicted that Excelsior class starships would still be serving proudly over 90 years later. The design proved so successful that the Starfleet Design Bureau adapted the basic hullform of the Excelsior to the new technologies available in the late 24th Century. On stardate 56850.1 the USS Chabot was commisioned, extending the design lineage of the old Excelsior to another generation of starships. With the improvements of the Starfleet Advanced Technologies project now being incorporated into all new ship designs, the Chabot benefits from enhanced protection and weapons systems, as well as many non-combat systems improvements. Posts: 43 		The Chabot is one of the very best ships for SFC3. Exceedingly well done. Stat her up like a pocket Sov. She could've been called the Bo Derrick cl***** because she's a perfect 10. Yeah, I know. Most of you people have no idea who Bo Derrick is. big grin
