Multi-Era Enterprise Mission/Mod - File Description

Description:

In looking at the poll results asking for earlier SFC files, I am pleased to bring the first of many Pre-SFC3 files.

Go to your EAW game directory:

1. Back up your shiplist.txt file in assetsspecs. IMPORTANT!!

2. This file will automatically detect where SFC2 is on your PC's harddrive.

All files will go the proper place. Three new directories will appear in your assetsmodels folder ; tng, tmp, and tosmodels - each folder will have models in it. There'll be a new scr file in assetsscripts for this singleplayer mission.

While playing you will see ??? for shipnames sometimes. I did not want to get too fancy with the files for this.
The shiplist here will work only for the ships listed here: (in single player skirmish)

F-SOV - Sovereign
F-1701 - TMP Enterprise
F-GAL - Enterprise D
F-CVS+1 - TOS Enteprise
F-CVL+ - Enterprise B
F-AMB+ - Enteprise C
R-DDX - D'Deridex Class Warbird
R-VLD - Valdore Class

You will not see ship descriptions in the selection screens.

I'm glad basement rat reminded me I had done this FMSE mission. Even though this does not approach the complexities of the OP Missions that Centauri Vaughn did for me, this is a lot of fun -- just for the sheer coolness factor of seeing:

There is a certain demand for things like this. If you look at Armada2 files, you'll see files from the 1st Armada on there.

The models are compatible with OP and they should be available in an EAW campaign, although they may show up as ???. Just go by the above mentioned designations. I didn't set them up for campaign use originally; just for the one mission,

who here thinks if sfc 2 had better graphics and you only have to control ONE ship, (ignoring the time period) it could kick sfc 3's butt.

how do i get the ships to work in skirmish mode??

Just play in skirmish mode after the install and the ships will be there.

For the Feds:

Why is everyone afraid to say class? They just keep saying cl*** as if the 3 end letters spell a cuss word even if it is really part of a non-cuss word. Same with Assimilation and several other words.
