This is the second version of the "New Movie Enterprise". The textures of this version have more of a white polished look, compared to the rough armored look of the original version, which you can see here:

Below is the readme from the original version:

Greetings true believer! Hopefully you enjoyed the new Star Trek movie, and from that movie, here is the new Enterprise! This model was originaly created and textured by Pneumonic81(aka Rick Knox) as the original USS Enterprise(TOS version). I have retextured it and adjusted the shape and size to match the alternate Enterprise from the new movie.

According to the official(and conflicting) info, the new Enterprise is somewhere between 600 and 900 meters. By comparison, the Sovereign is 700 meters, meaning the new Enterprise is approximately the same size as the Sovereign. However, since this may or may not be correct, I have included a large version of the model that is the same size as the Sovereign in game, as well as a small version of the model that is the same size as the original Constitution class, which is approximately the same size as the Intrepid in game.

The large model uses the same hardpoints as the Sovereign, so if you want to add the large version simply copy the Sovereign line in the spec file and rename it accordingly. The small model uses the same hardpoints as the Intrepid class, so if you want to add the small version simply copy the Intrepid line in the spec file and rename accordingly.

Additionaly, I have included alternate textures that match the colors of the original Enterprise from TOS, for any who wish to use them.

but its still just baisicly a retexture

it is great work but someone should make the actual model for the new enterprise

Actually, if you will notice the proportions are also different than the original Constitution:

That said, I too would be happy to see an exact replica of the Enterprise from the new movie. However, until someone makes it, you will unfortunately have to suffer with this stick out tongue

I actually like version 1.0's textures for a different look for the ship, and am using those in my game. But the new textures look good too, makes look brand new out of the space dock.

If you could make the end of the nacelles a little bigger toward the front and have the particle intake thingy (sorry can't remember the proper name) pushed back in the nacelle so the structure is hanging over it a little, it would look closer to what's in the movie.
