This is the fourth version of the "New Movie Enterprise". There are a number of changes made to both the model and the textures from the third version. To mention a few: the saucer has been thinned, the nacelles been enlarged, and the bussard collectors have been retextured. Below is the readme from the original version:

Greetings true believer! Hopefully you enjoyed the new Star Trek movie, and from that movie, here is the new Enterprise! This model was originaly created and textured by Pneumonic81(aka Rick Knox) as the original USS Enterprise(TOS version). I have retextured it and adjusted the shape and size to match the alternate Enterprise from the new movie.

According to the official(and conflicting) info, the new Enterprise is somewhere between 600 and 900 meters. By comparison, the Sovereign is 700 meters, meaning the new Enterprise is approximately the same size as the Sovereign. However, since this may or may not be correct, I have included a large version of the model that is the same size as the Sovereign in game, as well as a small version of the model that is the same size as the original Constitution class, which is approximately the same size as the Intrepid in game.

The large model uses the same hardpoints as the Sovereign, so if you want to add the large version simply copy the Sovereign line in the spec file and rename it accordingly. The small model uses the same hardpoints as the Intrepid class, so if you want to add the small version simply copy the Intrepid line in the spec file and rename accordingly.

Additionaly, I have included alternate textures that match the colors of the original Enterprise from TOS, for any who wish to use them.

IHow do I run the small version? I have deleted the large version files and yet the ship is still huge in game. Thanks.

Unless I goofed up(which is very possible), all you should have to do is copy the files from the "small version" folder and paste them into the main ship folder. However, there is a text file in the main ship folder which stores info on the model after it is loaded in game, and sometimes this file will make the game think it is still using the old model, even if you change it. So you should delete this file each time you switch versions. When you open this txt file it will just look like a bunch of jibberish, it is NOT the file that stores the hardpoint info.

Just tested, the models are the correct sizes. It has to be the file I mentioned. It will be named the same thing as the actual ship mod file, so there will be a text document named "newent" and "newent_brk". Delete them both any time you switch between models.

That worked. Thanks. But my phasers all seem to fire from the same point. How can I get them to fire from different points on the ship?

I changed the text file you said to and the ship still isn't smaller is there anything else I should try.

I installed the ship following the instructions on Brad VIlla's guide...However the ship still does not show up in my Vessel library or anywhere for that matter. Is there a step I have missed? What are the detailed steps I should follow for this particular model? I RTFMed and still am not having success. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
