SFC2: EAW TOS Mod - File Description  


Description:
Here's an original series mod for SFC2: EAW as part of our ongoing series of mods for the older SFC games.

All files needed for the TOS Mod for SFC2 are included here.

The installation directory is left blank on purpose. You need to browse to the directory where your SFC2 Game is located. If you have used the default installtion directory it is...

C:Program FilesTaldrenStarfleet Command II

The models will install directly into the models directory of the game.

There will be two other folders created in the Starfleet Command II directory.

TOS and ORIG.

1. make backups of the shiplist.txt file in assetsspecs AND the strings and shipnames files in assetsstrings.

2. Delete the shiplist.txt file from assetsspecs AND the strings and shipnames files from assetsstrings.

3. Copy the shiplist.txt file from the TOS folder into assetsspecs.

4. Copy the strings and shipnames files from the TOS folder into assetsstrings.

THE ORIG FOLDER CONTAINS THE SAME VERSIONS OF THE ORIGINAL GAME FILES YOU DELETED. Not to worry.

I decided not to create batch files for this mod - if you follow the instructions here you will be enjoying TOS ASAP!

To play the original game, just copy the shiplist file from the ORIG folder to assetsspecs and the strings and shipnames to assetsstrings.
