Hot on the heels of Activision's announcement today, we're bringing you the love of IGN with the first information about Starfleet Command III, the next real-time tactical combat game set in the Star Trek universe coming out of the Taldren studios. Daniel Hagerty, Activision's Associate Producer on the game was nice enough to take a load off and answer some questions regarding the title and it's new setting in the Next Generation timeline.

This a distress call!!! I have enjoyed my Starfleet Command III but my laptop has had a melt down and I am not able to install the game on my new PC because I have lost my CD key. Can anyone help

yes go to the game folder and open the sfc.ini configuration file in wordpad. There is a line that says make it so. the file should read as follows

ASCIICharacterSet=0
Language=English

MakeItSo=1
if the line make it so isnt there add it and you wont need cd anymore
